I bought a home in Dec 2014 and was looking for a simple solution to turn my lights and entertainment system off when not in use. There were buzzwords like Zigbee, ZWave, WiFi and a lot of questions around what was a good technology. A lot of fragmented solutions but nothing that I would just buy for my home.
